3 Years old!

On June 2, 2011 Lexyn and Brittyn turned 3 years old. Daddy took the day off work and Gamma watched Kinlynn so we were able to have a special day.

We started out by giving them their make-up/dress-up table we got them. It was and still is a big hit. Then we went to eat pizza at Larry's Pizza. It was so good and the girls ate 2 pieces each, plus a dessert piece. After playing a few games at the arcade we left with full tummies and headed to a church in Little Rock that has a 2 story play place they open to the public during the week. It has lots of tunnels and slides to climb on. The girls had a blast and played for 2 hours.

It was a fun day for everyone. I can't believe my babies are 3 years old. We had a big party on the 4th at Party Central with lots of inflatable slides and friends!

Easter 2011

Still playing catch up!

For Easter this year we got together at Ben's parents house. My family came over there too so that all of us could enjoy a good meal together and then watch the girls hunt eggs.

Lexyn's 1st ponytail

On May 19th Lexyn sported her first ponytail! She was so proud. Her hair is finally long enough to put it into a ponytail like Brittyn!

Kinlynn turned 3 months old.

She was sleeping from 10pm to 7:30 or 8am. She would nurse then go right back to sleep until about 10.

She is smiling a lot

Always has her hands in her mouth.

Likes to suck her left pinky with her hand turned backwards.

Kinlynn turned 4 months old

Sleeping from about 10pm to 9am. But started waking up around 4 or 5 am to nurse for 5 minutes then goes back asleep.

Found her feet and is always holding onto them

rolls completely on her side but hasn't made it all the way to her tummy

Loves her sisters, and will smile big for them

Started getting upset when held by a stranger

My little Gymnasts

In March Lexyn and Brittyn started gymnastics in a "You and Me" class. It's a class that Ben and I go with them and help them. They love it and their teacher is amazed at their strength! Because of the bar and ring swing on our swingset they had taught themselves, before even starting gymnastics, how to do a flip. When their teacher saw that they could do that on their own she said they will be on her gymnastics team in no time. She told us last week that once they get the listening and standing in line part down, they will be ready to move up to the 3-4 year old class skipping the 2-3 year old class. Maybe by the fall they will be more mature and ready to be in a normal class setting. For now, we are all getting a work out and having a great time in the "you and me" class! They are learning so much.
