Today, August 2nd at 3:24 pm and 3:25 pm my girls were 3 months old. It just doesn't seem possible. Time is going way to fast and needs to slow down. Since they were 10 and 1/2 weeks early their adjusted age is 3 weeks old. The doctors use their adjusted age to consider their developing skills. Since there adjusted age is 3 weeks it means they are pretty much only doing what 3 week old full term new borns do. I think they are a little ahead of that. Today Brittyn got so mad when I left her on her tummy on the boppy, that when I came back from fixing her a bottle she had scooted about 3 feet backwards. The only thing keeping her from scooting further was the cords from her heart monitor. In the pictures above Lexyn is wearing stripes and Brittyn has on polka dots with 3 flowers.
Things the girls are doing at 3 months or 3 weeks adjusted age:
looking Ben and me in the eye
smiling at us a few times a day
grunting, which they have done since birth
Lexyn has rolled over 5 times both directions
they can both sit in their Bumbo chair and hold their head up for 5 minutes
eating every 4 to 5 hours
taking 2 and half ounces of formula with rice cereal at each feeding
