Where has time gone?

Wow, Where has time gone? My 2 miracles are 2 and half year old today! Seems crazy.

Some things they are doing right now that just blows us away:

*Talking in sentences
*counting to 15
*saying/singing the ABC's
*recognizing shapes
*starting to catch onto color's
*know every animal and their sounds
*sings Jesus Loves Me
*asks to say "Amen", pray
*good at tattling on each other
*can "read" recite certain books to us
*knows all family members names
*great a playing pretend
*starting to recognize some letters


After changing their night time routine, bumping bedtime to 8:00-8:30, and stopping their Flovent inhaler at night and doing it in the morning now; we are finally seeing less sleepless nights, less night terrors, and only about 3 spankings before staying in bed and falling asleep! I didn't think we would ever see the day, and we aren't there completely but our 2 hour nightly fights are now down to about 15 minutes. And the screaming/crying out 3-4 times a night has gone to maybe once usually zero times. This has made a huge difference in every one's attitude at our house! Who would ever thought my GREAT sleepers would go to HORRIBLE sleepers just by moving them to toddler beds. A word of advice.....as long as your babies fit into cribs and aren't climbing out let them sleep in them as long as possible!





Through all the stress and chaos that comes with having twin 2 year olds, there are lots of fun and sweet moments that help us forget the bad! I can't wait to see what the next 2 and half years has in store for us; and to see what great big sisters they will be to Kinlynn when she gets here.
