First Time for Everything

This is how we started out dying Easter Eggs; sitting on the table on the back porch.

We quickly realized that wasn't going to work. The girls wouldn't stay sitting down, and we really didn't want a big goose egg on their heads for Easter. They also had way to much free range to grab everything! So we moved them to their swings, and pushed the table up to it. It worked a lot better.

We ended up letting them just hold the eggs and sticking the egg and their entire hand into the dye. When we mixed up the dye, we just used water with the tablet to make pastel colors. It was the girls first time so they weren't going to care if they were real bright. It actually worked best because a little soap and water washed the dye right off and didn't stain their skin.

They had a good time, but sure wore us out! I am sure next year will be a little more enjoyable.
