We had a great family outing to the pumpkin patch Saturday afternoon. We went to a different one from last year, and it happened to be it's first year. It has some areas for improving but for the most part we liked it better than last years. We were probably 4 out of 50 people there so it was so nice not being crowded and just letting the girls run. They had a blast!
My mom had to quickly make their shirts last minute Friday night because we realized it was going to be 85 degrees which was way to hot for any of their long sleeve Halloween/Fall clothes. But it wasn't too bad hot because most of it was in the shade.
She is finally learning to say "cheeeeese" for the camera sometimes, however it isn't always the best smile!

We made it on the hay ride. We just took a tractor pulled hayride out around the field because we picked our pumpkins from the huge pre-picked patch.
We even got the chicken, AKA Lexyn, on a pony ride! Lexyn has always been terrified and I mean screaming terrified to be anywhere close to animals other than a dog or cat. But something changed her mind Saturday when she told her daddy she wanted "ride horsey." We were so proud of her and she even enjoyed it and didn't want to get off.

Lexyn also surprised us by crawling through the hay tunnel. She is just really scared and cautious about EVERYTHING!

Daddy had the great idea of putting them on one swing together, after that they didn't want any part of swinging separately.

Brittyn, my dirt loving tom-boy, enjoyed digging in the corn box. This was so neat, a much cleaner version of a sand box.
We had a great time, and even managed to go 3 hours without a screaming fit while we were there! That is big these days!
